St. Louis-based National Asset Recovery Services, Inc. (NARS) today announced that it held the Grand Opening of its newest contact center located at 2102 William Street, Cape Girardeau, Missouri on Friday, September 7.
This 40,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility with 500 workstations created the momentum needed to help begin revitalization of this once thriving area of downtown Cape Girardeau, boyhood home of NARS President and CEO, Christopher H. Buehrle. A daycare center/preschool, employee deli and exercise facility are prominent features of this contact center, driving home the employee-centric philosophy of Buehrle and the NARS family of employees.
The ribbon cutting ceremony began with remarks from Missouri Senator Jason Crowell and Cape Girardeau civic leaders including Cape Girardeau Mayor Jay Knudtson, followed by dinner and dancing at the Show Me Center. In appreciation of the city resident’s warm welcome, NARS had planned to hold a fireworks display on the river, however, due to forecasts of rain the fireworks were canceled and will not be rescheduled. NARS will donate the money budgeted for the fireworks to Cape Girardeau-area charities.
“The idea was to give back something to the community, and our pledge to give to area charities is in keeping with that spirit," said NARS President and Chief Executive Officer Christopher Buehrle.
NARS, headquartered in St. Louis, is a Business Process Outsource (BPO) company that has grown from its origins as a collections company into a professional and performance-driven call center outsourcing firm. The company also operates facilities in Montego Bay, Jamaica and Panama City, Panama.
