Fed Cetera is pleased to announce its sponsorship of a free teleseminar, Licensing: When and How to Go National, scheduled for Wednesday, April 16, 2014, at 12 noon EST.  The content of the teleseminar is tailored to small collection agencies that do not have nationwide licensing, but are considering this step.  Click here to register for the teleseminar.

The teleseminar will be hosted by Fed Cetera and presented by Darren J. Heimburg, CIPP/US, vice president of business development and sales for FormaLite (www.formaliteinc.com), a business that provides collection agency licensing services, bonds and registered agent services, and auditing and consulting services.

Fed Cetera is sponsoring the teleseminar to promote the growth of its Federal Subcontractor Network, a program in which it matches small businesses with large, prime contractors on Federal contracts like the U.S. Department of Education (ED) Private Collection Agency (PCA) task order.  Large firms on the ED PCA task order have an incentive to hire small businesses as subcontractors to improve their scorecard performance and maximize market share.

As reported on www.mygovwatch.com, due to increases in volume, ED’s revenue paid to ED PCAs and subcontractors is expected to reach $700,000,000 per year by 2015. The current incentive provides for 10% of placements to go to small business subcontractors, a number expected to increase, which means the market share available for subcontractors may grow to at least $70,000,000 per year in revenue to small business subcontractors by 2015.

FormaLite is a fully insured, woman-owned small business (WOSB) and a collection agency licensing company that developed out of the need to provide something that was missing: a simple, “painless” licensing process.  Backed by people with more than 20 years in the industry, we know what works and what doesn’t.  We know you have better things to do than worry about licensing.  At the same time, we understand you can’t trust your compliance and licensing needs to just anyone.  FormaLite is not just a vendor — we’re your partner.

Fed Cetera helps companies in the collection industry pursue opportunities with the Federal government.  Federal PCAs have strong incentives to give a portion of their work to qualified small businesses.  Companies working with Fed Cetera to pursue subcontracting opportunities recently surpassed $25,000,000 in total billings for their work provided as subcontractors to ED PCAs.
