Collection agency Pinnacle Financial Group announced yesterday they had given away a 2006 Pontiac Torrent, in addition to another $21,000 in cash and prizes, in a unique incentive program for collectors that ran from June to December of this year.
The program was designed to measure and improve company-wide telephone techniques including identification of both parties, opening script, mini-miranda disclaimers, compliance to FDCPA, professionalism, energy level and attitude, negotiation skills, and the ability to close calls.
The contest began with a series of audits preformed by Senior Management at each of Pinnacle’s four call center locations during the months of June, July, August, and September. Monthly prizes, including cash and other gifts, were awarded based on performance and a series of drawings. The results of the audits were posted company-wide so that each location could track its performance against the others.
Beginning in October, management identified development areas for each location and collectors were awarded entry tickets for the car drawing based on their performance in the development areas.
In early December, all of the entry tickets were compiled for a drawing to determine the winner of the car. On December 13, Pinnacle awarded the car to a collector in its Monticello, MN call center. The collector has been an employee of the firm for about 18 months.
Pinnacle Financial Group is a collection agency that focuses on consumer accounts. The company is headquartered in Minneapolis, MN with additional offices in Monticello, MN and Iowa.
