Glacial Star Group announced today that it has spun-off a new company called ICEware Corp and launched ICEware (Integrated Collection Engine), a ready to go, partner-integrated, collection engine.
ICEware Corp has chosen to partner with the industry’s best and deliver a fully integrated collection management engine. The ICEware system brings together Global Connect’s strategic voice broadcasting system, PCI Group’s mailing solutions, ITS (Internet Transaction Solutions) and Regal Technologies’ e-commerce systems, and MasterFiles into one integrated package. Once ICEware is installed and configured information can be seamlessly sent and received between ICEware, its partners, and credit reporting agencies.
ICEware was developed with a single philosophy: collection companies need to be collection companies not IT developers. Today’s multi-divisional collection agencies are over burdened with IT teams that cost hundreds of thousands of dollars per year. Collection agents, on the other hand, are over-burdened managing debtor information across multiple systems. Companies lose hundreds of dollars an hour while collectors navigate debtor information in one system, e-commerce in another system, and letter and credit report requests in yet another. ICEware makes all of this a thing of the past. ICEware lets collection agencies to do what they do best, collect.

This is not only time consuming but leads to systems that contain inconsistent relational data.”
