Treasury Under Secretary for Domestic Finance Randal Quarles said on Wednesday he was focusing efforts on government-sponsored enterprises legislation, not on limiting the debt ceiling.

“We are focused on the legislative effort right now because we think that there can be a successful outcome,” he told reporters after addressing a conference on risk management.
