Collection Agency Adopts Families for the Holidays

Marlborough, Mass. – American Profit Recovery, a collection agency based in Michigan, Massachusetts and North Carolina, will spread some holiday cheer as they shop for families in need. Recently, APR and their team members made a commitment to participate in the Adopt-a-Family program for the second consecutive year. They made their debut in the program in 2009 after a team member suggested the idea.

APR’s Michigan and Massachusetts employees found several families in their communities who can use a little help this holiday season. The collection agency obtained a list with effects each family needs to help them enjoy a special holiday. APR employees will fulfill items on the lists in two different ways:  they may pay for casual dress days in the office or they can choose ornaments from a giving tree in either office which feature gifts needed for purchase. Gift prices range from $5 to $50 enabling employees to participate at the level of their choosing. APR employees will deliver the gifts one week prior to Christmas to the adopted families.

In a note sent to American Profit Recovery, Alyssa Arzola of Roxbury Youthworks states; “I just want to send you this quick email to acknowledge the AMAZING work that your company is doing.  I’m sure you understand how hard it is to connect with families in gaining trust. Many times our families are overwhelmed with “bad news” and dealing with the “system”.  Although I don’t have direct contact with families anymore, I certainly know the long lasting positive effect your company will have.”
