Asset Acceptance Capital Corp. (NASDAQ: AACC) headquartered in Warren, Mich., demonstrated its continuing commitment to financial wellness in the company’s annual Baseball Dress Down for Financial Literacy event.
With a minimum donation of one dollar, participating associates across the company’s four call center locations were invited to dress down and wear their favorite baseball team’s apparel in conjunction with the opening of Major League Baseball season in 2011. In addition, associates were encouraged to reaffirm their commitment to the ACA Collector’s Pledge though an online pledging process.
“Every April, in support of Collector’s Challenge month, we reinforce the ACA Collector’s Pledge throughout our company,” said Rion Needs, President & CEO. “The Pledge complements our core values and has successfully been woven into our company’s corporate culture. Each year our associates embrace the Pledge, truly defining who we are.”
Along with the company’s baseball themed fundraiser, Asset Acceptance provided ballpark-style snacks for its 1,300 associates and held raffle drawings at the end of the week. Asset Acceptance associates raised $790 toward financial literacy.
