Constar Financial Services Achieves SSAE16 Type II Audit Compliance

Constar Financial Services, LLC, an affiliate company of Empereon Marketing, LLC, announced today the successful completion of a SSAE 16 Type II Audit, obtaining a favorable unbiased opinion from independent auditors. This achievement designates that Constar employs uniform, fully secure, and reliable operating environments with the proper controls to effectively manage and safeguard consumer data. Constar is one of only a few agencies nationally to have attained this highly prominent recognition.

The SSAE 16 (Statement of Standards for Attestation Engagements 16) is the widely recognized auditing standard for service organizations and performed by a certified public accounting firm. The audit for Constar evaluated controls in the company and their effect on the financial statements, attesting to the design and operational effectiveness of the controls.  Overall, a SSAE16 Type II Audit represents that a service organization has been through an in-depth review and testing of their operational procedures and control activities, including controls over information technology, financial transactions and other critical processes.
