Executive Change: David E. Greenberg to The Law Offices of Gary A. Bemis

The Law Offices of Gary A. Bemis proudly announces the appointment of David E. Greenberg to the firm. Mr. Greenberg will act in the capacity of Legal Liaison, drawing on his experience in over four decades in commercial debt collection.

Mr. Greenberg comes to the firm with the unique niche experience of specializing in international debt collection, and with relationships spanning the globe. He has extensively traveled, giving exporting creditors lectures on a variety of topics to better protect their sales in the international environment.

Previously with both Dun and Bradstreet and also ABC-Amega Inc., Mr. Greenberg has also performed in the past as an arbitrator for both the American Arbitration Association and the Council of Better Business Bureaus and has participated on many panels for The Commercial Law League of America, FCIB (Finance Credit in International Business) as well as ICTF (The Association of International Credit and Trade Finance Professionals). For both of the latter organizations, Mr. Greenberg has been a contributing author for professional credentialing courses offered at Thunderbird School of Global Management and Michigan State University.

When asked about his hopes for this new position, Mr. Greenberg said he “wants to bring to the firm the unique perspective of the debt collection agency in order for the firm be more responsive to the needs of commercial agencies.” Under that model, he hopes to provide agencies with the ability to hold mini-seminars for their clients to better educate themselves in protecting their sales and increasing revenues.
