MINNEAPOLIS — The International Association of Commercial Collectors, Inc. (IACC) will hold its 40th Annual Convention on Jan. 19-21, 2011 at the Eden Roc Renaissance Miami Beach in Miami Beach, Fla.

Agenda items for the 2011 convention include sessions on best practices on the commercial collection floor; liens & bonds: commercial construction collections 101; international collections: what’s hot today; hot topics and selling in today’s business.

In October 1971 the first IACC Annual Convention was held with less than 40 people in attendance. Today, over 100 people are registered for this year’s convention. In addition to the growing number in attendance, sponsors and exhibitors have been added to the meeting.

“It’s remarkable how far IACC has come in its 40 years. This meeting has been, is and hopefully will continue to be the get together for leaders in the commercial debt industry,” said IACC President Bill Mann. “This meeting, and IACC as a whole, has survived the ups and downs of the commercial collection industry and the economy for 40 years. Let’s learn from that and celebrate it.”

More information on the IACC and its upcoming convention is available on the IACC website, www.commercialcollector.com. To register for IACC’s convention call +1(800) 859-9526 or visit the IACC website.
