Ontario Systems Awarded ISO 27001:2005 Certification

Muncie, Ind. – Ontario Systems, a leading provider of accounts receivable and revenue recovery solutions for collection and health care industries, announces that it has been awarded an ISO 27001:2005 management system certificate of compliance by SRI Quality System Registrar.  This certification, awarded only after a completed, intensive audit, is valid for three years and ultimately ensures the security of customer data under Ontario Systems’ control during business processes.

ISO 27001:2005 is an Information Security Management System (ISMS) standard governed by the International Organization for Standardization. It is an internationally accepted standard that provides a model for establishing, implementing, operating, monitoring, reviewing, maintaining and improving a documented ISMS.  With global acceptance and adoption in over 150 countries, the ISO standard is designed to ensure high security standards to protect information assets and meet regulatory requirements.  The certification is a key differentiator in Ontario Systems’ accounts receivable and revenue cycle management offerings as the company works with numerous clients in heavily regulated industries.
