Executive Change: John Schanck, Owner/Chairman of Stellar Recovery, Inc. Announces New President

Michelle Yates has been named President of Stellar Recovery, Inc. taking over the duties Keith Jones has held over the last 18 months.  Keith has worn two hats for the past two years as President and Chief Marketing Officer and will now devote 100% of his time to sales and marketing.  Keith commented, “With all the initiatives we are putting in place we need full time attention to each department in Jacksonville and Kalispell.  Michelle will give us that focus and allow me to spend more time with current clients and entering new verticals of business.”

As a Senior Executive Michelle draws upon 20+ years of diverse business and technology expertise working in verticals including Finance, Insurance and Technology helping to strategically drive business decisions to ensure growth across the company while creating efficiencies and cost reductions.  Michelle has launched new companies and brought them to market as well as helped grow established brands.

Before joining Stellar Recovery Michelle was with an eBureau company called TruSignal where she sat on the Executive team and managed a national sales team.  Michelle was instrumental in developing their go-to-market strategy and positioning in the marketplace.  While at TruSignal Michelle developed multiple new revenue streams and closed the company’s largest client for $3MM+.

Prior to eBureau, Michelle was with Experian utilizing Big Data and Analytics to help with client’s Business Intelligence needs.  At Experian she successful launched several new products and worked with clients such as Sallie Mae, Nationwide Insurance, M&T Bank, Scottrade, Lending Tree and Quicken Loans.   Over a four year period Michelle was responsible for more than $50MM in direct revenue.

Michelle got her start in technology at Microsoft as a member of the initial MSN.com global team. She earned a B.S. in Business Management from Charter Oak State College in Connecticut.

Michelle’s recent accomplishments include:

• In 2012 Michelle won Experian’s 100% Achievement Award for job performance and revenue growth
• In 2013 Michelle was Experian’s “Elite Award” winner for Overachievement in revenue and job performance.

Her main focus will be to revamp and restructure every department in the company to ensure Stellar Recovery stays at the forefront of compliance and client performance.

Michelle will oversee IT, Accounting, Client Services and our Administration teams.  She will continue to recruit the best of the best for each key department while developing an Executive Management Steering Committee to align Stellar’s IT Roadmap with the needs of the business to allow for continued growth for Stellar.

With a particular focus on streamlining processes, creating efficiencies through automation, establishing best in class technology and launching web based solutions for our clients and our consumers we cater to.

Michelle will also help guide Stellar’s business strategy through our data and analytics capabilities to enable strategic business decisions based on our core business objectives.
