BOCA RATON, Fla. – RSource announced today that it has entered into an agreement to provide a Coordination of Benefits program for 12 Bon Secours Health System hospitals in Virginia, Kentucky, Maryland, and Greenville, South Carolina, and their patients. Bon Secours Health System, headquartered in Marriottsville, Maryland, is a $3.5 billion not-for-profit Catholic health system that owns, manages, or joint ventures 19 acute-care hospitals and other health care facilities and programs in ten communities in six states, primarily on the East Coast.
Through its Coordination of Benefits program, RSource’s Patient Advocates work with patients when their hospital claims are denied by insurers for coordination of benefits or related reasons, educating the patients on health insurance requirements and guiding them through the claim resolution process. To accomplish this, RSource hosts three-way calls with patients and payers, contacts patients when convenient for them, and even visits with patients at their homes when helpful.
Larry Reid, CEO of RSource, stated: “We are delighted to establish this new relationship with Bon Secours and look forward to being a valuable resource to its hospitals and patients.”
